Using Window Seat, or asking us to arrange travel, means you accept them.
02What we do, and what we do not
We are a travel agent. We arrange flights, accommodation, transport, activities, visas and insurance on your behalf, with the airline, hotel, operator or authority who actually provides them.
This matters when something goes wrong: the supplier's own conditions of carriage or booking govern the service they provide, and a cancellation, delay or downgrade is theirs. We will press your case and pursue what is due to you, and we will tell you plainly where the remedy sits.
03Quotes, and when a price is fixed
A quotation is an offer at the fares and rates available at the moment we prepare it. Airline fares and hotel rates move, and availability moves faster. A price is fixed only when the booking is confirmed and paid for — until then, we will tell you if it has changed rather than quietly re-quote.
A quote shows the price you pay. Our fee is included in it.
04Payment
- Payment is due by the date on the quotation. Some fares must be ticketed within hours of being held, and we will say so where that applies.
- Card and payment-link payments carry a surcharge, shown before you pay. It is the charge the payment provider makes to us, passed on without addition.
- Embassy, visa-centre and similar official fees are passed through at cost, and never combined with our service charge — so a receipt can always be matched to a payment.
- Where a company is billed, the invoice is raised to the entity you name at the time of booking, and GST is charged as the law requires.
05Changes, cancellations and refunds
Change and cancellation terms are the supplier's, and differ sharply between a flexible fare and a saver one. We will tell you what applies before you commit, not after.
Where a refund is due, we claim it from the supplier and pass it to you when it reaches us. Airlines and hotels can take weeks or months, and we cannot pay out money we have not received. Our own service charge on work already done is not refundable.
06Your documents are your responsibility
You must hold a passport valid for the period the destination requires — commonly six months beyond your return — together with the right visas, permits and any required vaccinations.
We will tell you what we believe is needed, and we track your passport's expiry and warn you. But the requirement is set by governments and can change without notice, and the traveller is responsible for holding the correct documents. We cannot refund a trip missed because a document was not in order.
07Insurance
We offer travel insurance on every trip, and we recommend it. If you decline it you travel uninsured, and the cost of a medical event, a cancellation or lost baggage falls to you.
08What we are responsible for
We are responsible for arranging your travel with reasonable care and skill, and for the accuracy of what we tell you.
We are not responsible for a supplier's own failure, nor for events outside anybody's control — weather, strikes, closed airspace, civil disruption, an epidemic, or a government decision. Where such an event stops a trip, we will help you recover what can be recovered.
Our liability for our own error is limited to the amount you paid us for the arrangement in question. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not permit us to limit.
09Window Seat
Window Seat is reached by a signed link with a limited life. Treat it as you would a boarding pass: anyone holding the link can see the trip it belongs to. Tell us if it goes astray and we will withdraw it and issue another.
Where you accept part of a proposal in Window Seat, that acceptance is recorded against that segment, with the time. Where your advisor records an acceptance on your behalf — because you told them by phone or in person — it is stored as their answer, not yours, and shown that way, so the record always says who agreed to what.
10Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts at TODO City, Country have exclusive jurisdiction.
11Complaints
Tell your advisor first — most things are fixed in a phone call. If that does not settle it, write to hello@gosavvy.in and we will respond within 30 days.
